The wind felt good, the light rain felt better, andeverything that flew was fair game.

01 · Day Two

Cooler than the forecast promised.

Today was the second day of the Sioux Falls Air Show. The weather felt cooler than the hot and humid forecast suggested. The wind felt good, and so did the short stretch of light rain.

02 · Faces on the Tarmac

A governor, a mayor, and officers with aircraft.

Many of us got to see Governor Larry Rhoden and new Sioux Falls Mayor Christine Erickson together. A couple of those photos are included here.

There were also some great opportunities to photograph members of the Sioux Falls Police Department posing with the aircraft.

03 · In the Air

Thunderbirds, Vanguard, and everything in between.

The Thunderbirds and the pilots of Vanguard Squadron provided plenty to photograph, along with just about everything else that came within range of the camera.

04 · Gratitude

Thanks to the Air National Guard.

A big thank-you to my friends at the South Dakota Air National Guard — Taylor, Duey, and Luke. Your friendship and support are greatly appreciated.
