01 · The Room

Every Section Filled

Friday night was a completely sold-out night at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center with more than 10,000 people in attendance for Ella Langley and Eric Church. The floor was reworked with the Church Choir pit up front and nine seated chair sections stretching back, while every raised section in the building was open and filled.

02 · Opening Set

Ella Langley in All Black

Ella Langley opened the night dressed in all black. This was an opener that people were very excited about and you could feel that.

03 · Behind the Lens

The View from the Mix

I was honored to have been the designated house photographer for the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center and the only local photographer for the night. My assignment had me shooting from the mix and the areas immediately around it — a tough spot on a busy floor, especially when you’re only 5’8”. But that’s part of the story. The crowd, the scale, the moments in between.

Enjoy the photos. See you at the next concert.
