Living in South Dakota is interesting. Lots of people not familiar with the area expect that we are plains and predictable weather. We do have beautiful plains but we have lots to see in the form of nature that makes us unique. Our weather is anything but predictable! When it comes to weather it seems like most people want the same conditions for ever photo and every shoot. There is preferred weather for photography but it is important to learn to embrace whatever nature chooses to give you. This applies to nature, landscape, weddings, engagement sessions and more – all the same. I don’t mind a nice little white surprise in April like this, as long as it doesn’t last long!
